Don't Let your mascara Run you..

Hi everyone,

I wanted to do my own review on these two infamous mascaras that I'm sure the majority have heard of. If you have or haven't then I will start off by saying this is my own personal experience and opinion. Just because it does not work for me that doesn't mean it can't work for you.

So with that said here goes my review. I always enjoyed Maybelline Great Lash mascara. It has been my favorite mascara since middle school, LOL wow. I am one of those that believe all the hype about. It's the #1 recommended mascara said by makeup artist.

One thing I love about this mascara is the wand. It is small and fits right into them hard inner and out corner of the lashes. When the wand is smaller it helps to prevent me from getting mascara all up on the skin around my lashes. Next I love the color intensity one application of this stuff your lashes instantly darken. Another fave thing is that it definitely adds great volume extends out my lashes and separates them really well.

One thing I don't like about this is that when u apply it gets a little clumpy that's because when it comes out of the tube their is alot of product on the wand. What I like doing is grabbing a napkin and gently wipe off any excess product on the wand onto a napkin before applying on lashes. It works out great!


The eye with the great lash maybelline is the one to your left. I only used two coats of the maybelline. Now, the next eye has the Cover Girl Lash Blast. It is not the waterproof one neither is the maybelline but I found out that the maybelline was harder to remove than the lash blast. One thing I love about lash blast are the bristles on the wand they are so cool because their not clumped together like other wand bristles but I don't think it really helps out due to the fact that the wand is so freakin' HUGE! I hate the wand it's so hard to not get any mascara on your lid, GEEEZZ.I like that when u apply this mascara it doesn't feel heavy on the lashes and doesn't really come out all clumpy when the wand is removed from tube. It doesn't really separate or volumize my lashes. I had to apply 3 coats to make my lashes as dark as the maybelline. The camera really doesn't do justice but in person u can really tell the difference. But I never had a flaking problems with neither of the mascaras or itchiness.

So I guess you can say the winner for me is maybelline's great lash!!! Anyways let me know your experiences or opinions I would love to know, it will be interesting!
