2012 Dance Until The World Ends

I don't know but everytime I hear that brittany spears song it reminds me of 2012 and all the things they saying about the world ending.

To be honest I'm a tad bit scared and sad but I try not to let it get to me but people have been talking about it so much in movies, shows, songs even in church! I had dreams of the world ending as well and I have to say they are not nightmares because I actually go in peace without harm. But that does not put me at ease so I just felt like venting it out on here and maybe hopefully somebody is reading and will actually give me their input on it.

It feels like the time when everybody was talking bout Y2K and nothing ever happened. But this time the gossip is more INTENSE! All I want to say is one thing and that is to my Lord Jesus Christ:

"If I shall die before I wake I pray the Lord my soul to take AMEN!"

Kiss Acrylic French Nails

Back with some nail action! This time im using acrylic nails. Overall experience with these brand of nails is the consistency of the acrylic liquid and powder. Maybe I need more practice at applying. But two things I notice that I did not like is that it is dull and the nail doesn't have a gloss or shine to it even after applying a top coat with shine. Another thing was that after the acrylic dries your nails have a slight yellow tint to them.

The pictures I took were taken at night so quality is not that great and u won't see the dislikes I just mentioned in the pic. The nail glue is pretty sturdy just make sure to put a good amount or else the nail won't last u up to a week.

Overall it's a cheaper and decent alternative to get the job well done. Their sturdy enough just like the real deal once applied but they only last for up to 5 days. They give you two different styled nails, french tip and regular nail acrylic.

I would advise to apply a small amount of powder at a time and then slowly build on. U don't want to make the same mistake as I did...see below, lol!

Also, try applying nails outside your home such as a patio. The acrylic liquid fumes really stink up your house for hours and it's bad for your health if inhaled in a sealed in environment (cancerous). Im thinking of trying out their gel nails! Let me know if u have tried them out.

Broadway Nails Fast French Deceptions

As u all might know the Broadway glue-on nails are an awesome alternative to a cheaper acrylic nail manicure. If not I'm here to tell u the 411 with my experience and opinion of this product.

Pricing is 4.99 for 24 nails in 12 different sizes. They are very easy and quick to apply. Product claims to last 7 days on the nail.

They def lasted for 7 days and it was very fast/easy to apply to my nails. Don't really like the glue because it is hard to squeeze out. Also, it drys up after 2 days of opening the bottle so u won't be able to use it again if a nail falls off. Overall I loved these nails they are just as good as the nailene nails. I give it a 4 out of 5.

As seen below is the broadway nails on my fingers after wearing them for 5 days. I got the short length nail size. The nails do a good job imitating your real nail, as u can see the nails have a natural moon effect on them. They are light weight and comfortable, feels and looks like my natural nails just more better!

I am really looking forward to try out these DIY acrylic nails!! Will do a review on them asap. Thanks for reading, following and commenting.

Chic Work Attire

Something very plain and simple but still chic! The synced ankle cargo pants adds that unique style and the big brown bag gives a nice neutral pop to the outfit. Added some gold studs with a long rusted gold owl necklace and swung my hair into a high fashion bun. This allowed the outfit to look professional but at the same time sassy.

Hope this can give those of u an idea of how to mix up your work gear into looking more business casual with some flare! I will do more of the work oOTD because I am so into going to work all cute and fashionable but I don't want to be too over the top because it's still a PROFESSIONAL environment. I want create a balance between chic and professional work style. Let me know if you know any good blog sites that have a similar feel to those ootd because I have yet to find any. Thanks!

Beauty Ritual MUST

My favorite deep pore cleansing facial mask has to be the Indian Healing clay . Most natural and purest facial mask, just one ingredient... 100% pure bentonite clay. This type of clay is usually formed from volcanic ashes, it is then sun-dried for up to 6 months in high temp.(134 degrees). Bentonite is also used as a base for many dermatologic formulas. Clays have been used for centuries to beautify and refresh the skin. Our very own infamous Cleopatra used clay from the Nile river over 1800 years ago as part of her beauty ritual.

*Add water to the powder mix but
it's best to add 100% apple cider vinegar

I do this treatment twice a month, it really sucks in your face and reaches deep down into your pores u can literally feel your face throbbing as it drys. May sound painful but trust me it's not, feels like a tightening affect. It really pulls and lifts the skin, u gotta try it to know what I really mean SERIOUSLY.

Only thing is it's a little hard to wash off so I use my Biore facial cleanser, warm water and a facial scrub brush. Also, your face will be a little red after the treatment for a couple of minutes.

You can find this product at your local whole/health foods store or online at their website. Very affordable and long lasting, had this container for about 3 years.

You won't regret ever buying this product in my opinion :]

Last month I had the chance to do makeup for a bride. She wanted a natural yet noticeable makeup look. I did a pretrial first and tried out different shades of colors for the eyes, lips and face. Also, she wanted an airbrushed foundation for that flawless picture perfect look. I used my Luminess Air Airbrush system for her foundation.

During the pretrial we intended on doing this look for the wedding:

We changed our minds so the final makeup look for the wedding was a cream/burgundy color for the eyes with pink lips and cheeks.

She loved it! Hence the "I look like a victoria's secret model!" that she commented to me hehe. She looked gorgeous!

I had so much fun doing her makeup and it was a pleasure working with her she was such a sweet heart! Congrats on the wedding Katherine!

Hey everyone I want to thank my new blog frenzies for following my site. It means so much and I kindly appreciate it.

Today I just wanted to post a few fashion items I purchased that I am in love with and some favorites in my wardrobe. Just in case u didn't see my latest video on youtube(youtube.com/beautymarxed)I mentioned if anyone wanted to see a video on my basic wardrobe essentials. Let me know if any of u guys want me to do a video on that.

In the meantime I wanted to show u these new sandals I bought this weekend for $10 at DD's Dicsounts! I needed a pair of cute strappy beige sandals. This color is just like black matches with EVERYTHING. I recommend a pair of beige and nude shoes in your basic wardrobe essentials.

Only thing I was a little "eh" about was the velcro buckle. I wish they were real buttons. Or at least made the velcro beige in color instead of white. Other than that they are so comfyyyy!

I did another DIY fashion trend besides my fleur de lis shirt and this one was so easyto do I didn't feel the need to make a video on it. There aren't that many steps to it anyway. I'm really into jean jackets and since I live in florida I don't really wear long sleeve jackets because it's too damn hot! I been meaning to look for a jean vest jacket and it's so rare to find. So I remembered I had this long sleeve cropped jean jacket that I barely wear and transformed it into this............

I cut the sleeves up and made a sleeveless jean lil' outerwear!

I feel that a jean jacket is a must outerwear wardrobe essential as well! In hot climates it's best to have the vest jean jacket or leather vest(rawwr) that's what I want next in my wardrobe. It will def be a challenge to find!

Out of all the beautiful ladies She stood out more to me because she has this natural sex appeal about her. Also her rock hard abs, looks kinda of manly for my taste but she is the most fit out of all of them. Anyways she was disqualified so in honor of her participation on the show I decided to do this makeup look she had on the show before they dismissed her.

As we all know prom is coming up for the high school sweet hearts and sweeties! I did this classy subtle smokey eye makeup for one of my clients. She wanted a clean, simple, elegant look, not so over done. I also did some light contouring of the cheeks to slim out and define those gorgeous cheekbones! It came out beautifully the eye shadow colors really made her eyes glow, she loved it!

She wore a beautiful black gown which really accentuated her curves nicely and some pretty silver cinderella slippers,hehe(well they were heels actually).

I love putting makeup on others and make them feel glamorous on their special days. It's an amazing feeling when you see their faces light up after the makeup application!

I like to pair up my lip liners with my l/s because they help the color last longer on my lips.

The Beloved color above is a lipstain from the Just Bitten Collection by Revlon. It is an awesome lipstain for the price sold. But I feel that your lips need to be exfoliated before applying or it can look kind of dull and chapped of course.

Today I wanted to do a little review on a few face products that I am enjoying. Some having a few cons but mostly more pros! With that said my first product is the new...

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation Smart-Tone Technology
First and foremost, what I look forward to FIRST in my foundation is the COVERAGE. In my opinion the only reason one should wear foundation is to cover up ALOT of blemishes. If u only have a few here and there stick to a tinted moisturizer, trust me your face will thank u for it.

Next thing I look for in the foundation is the texture of it like how easy it is to blend and how it feels on my skin and how it makes it look whether it's too dry or oily looking. For starters let's begin with the pros of this foundation:

PROS:
Light Weight Formula-Allows skin to breathe.
Easy to blend
Smells good
Dewy-If u like that look go for it!
Affordable price
CONS:
Light Coverage-You really have to pack it on for that medium to full coverage.
Smart tone technology-Just a gimmick in my opinion
Pink undertone-I like the yellow undertone for my olive skin.
Transfers-Very smudgy with or without powder
Lasting power is minimal- maybe up to 7-8hrs wear with powder.
Greasy Look-Only if it's really hot and sunny out.
Available in 6 shades
No pump

My final thoughts about this foundation is that if you do not have ALOT of blemishes just your minor uneven skin tone problems check this foundation out. If you like the dewy look this is the best foundation for that as well.

These next two products are from ELF Cosmetics. Their Total Face brush and concealer brushes are great. Although the foundation brush I find that it's better to use as a concealer brush as it tends to make the foundation apply on your face very streaky. The face brush I use for everything, powders,bronzer,blush and blending out foundation and concealer. One con would be it sheds just like one or two bristles while cleaning or applying product.

Luminess Air Airbrush Cosmetics System

Hey ladies are you tired of rubbing your makeup onto your skin? I know I am and that's why I decided to try out something different. The most recent makeup fad is the airbrush makeup! You might know about this trend or not but it's been around for quite a while especially in the celebrity world. Even though it can be costly it is definitely a good product to invest. Especially great to have for them special occasions such as weddings or proms. Many people have a misconception that it's only for professionals in the makeup industries. As this is true, it may also be used by ordinary people like yourself and I. Contrary to what you may be thinking this airbrush system is very easy to use and believe it or not less time consuming.

My number one reason why I love this airbrush system besides the facts mentioned earlier is that the foundation that is used does not smudge, smear, stain or transfer onto your clothes or hands. Once it is applied to the face it instantly dries giving no time for any transferable errors. Another reason why I love this is that the
foundation last a long time on your skin with no necessary touch-ups.

A second reason I love this stuff is that as easy as it is to apply its as easy as taking it off. I don't have to rinse it off more than once without worrying about any extra makeup residue left behind. It comes off just as easy even with plain old water.

Third reason, It hides your pores and fine lines! Creating beautiful youthful, radiant skin which is what I aim for this day in age from my foundation products since I'm in my late 20's already, YIKES! I want something that will help me remain looking younger and younger besides the option of the EXPENSIVE plastic surgery route.

The airbrush cosmetic system gives you a gorgeous natural finish unlike regular foundations which tend to look more cakey and feel heavy on the skin.

I actually thought it would take long to apply my foundation with the airbrush system but it was surprisingly a lot quicker than using brushes. Reason being, you don't waste time using any sponges or brushes to apply product and you don't spend more time blending it into the skin. Takes just a few minutes to get use to.

With that said, I would like to introduce you to Luminess Air, an amazing well-known cosmetic airbrush and tanning system company. They gave me the wonderful opportunity to try out their system and overall I am satisfied with their product. It works great and I had no problem learning how to use the system. It comes with an instructional dvd and booklet guide as well as four different shades so you can custom blend the foundation and get the right color-match for your skin. Also, you can use the foundations as concealers. I love the fact that they have five systems to choose from(each one with their own name) starting with a more basic to a professional and more advance kit. The system I have is the illuminess(1 speed). It comes with two eye shadows and a blush! What I love most is that the system is compact. It includes its own travel and storage kit making it convenient for traveling.

The cost is way more affordable than any other brands I have seen and even then you can make monthly payments if you can't or don't want to pay the full amount right away.

One thing I would like to point out is that if you have mild to severe acne I would not recommend using airbrushed foundation. With my experience using this product the formula of the foundation is just too thin to smooth out the appearance of my mild acne. Although, it did cover up my redness and acne very well I felt that the the consistency is to thin and did not do such a good job at giving the illusion of soft, smooth skin. I have Plenty other foundations high end and drugstore, that provide a better job at softening and smoothing out my face bumps.

(Brings 4 different shades to customize and be able to fit your exact skintone; included to the far right is the airbrush blush)

On the downside, I don't like so much the cost of the eye shadows and foundation. I think it's a little too overpriced but then again the product will last you for quite a while.

Also, the eye shadows are a bit harder to apply to the eye if your going for a more smokey look, takes some practice before you can master that technique! Another thing about the eye shadows is that they take longer to dry than the foundation which can cause slight creasing or a mud like appearance if you blink before the e/s dries and its hard to fix it because the makeup is smudge proof. But a little powdered eye shadow can do the trick!

So far their cosmetics are only available on their website but they will soon be sold at Ulta! So please feel free to check them out especially if your a makeup artist or just interested in trying a new, easy and quick way to apply makeup.

HOT Neon PINK Lips

Haven't updated on blogspot in a while so I thought I would do so now. I find making videos is a little more better and faster because u can just record and then whenever its convenient for u, u can just edit vid and upload. Writing is a little too boring for me idk when it comes to beauty I perfer making vids than blogging unless its something really short like this blog today, hehe! Oh yes as u can tell by the picture above I cut my own bangs and decided to bring back them blunt fringes.

Anywho, I tweeted about finding the perfect hot neon pink lipstick. It seems to be a hot trend amongst many of the hollywood celebrities and well I looooove hot neon PINK, what girl doesn't *shrugs shoulders*

Little did I know all along I had that baby hiding under all my other lipsticks. There she was just starring right at me EEEeeeK! Sonia Kashuk Highlighting Brush

I find that this brush is great for stippling in and blending out foundation. Unfortunately not just any foundation can work well with this brush. Throughout my experimenting with this brush I find that it works well with any kind of foundations that are lightweight and and not so thick in consistency.

The Purpose of this brush is to help contour and highlight different parts of the face. But I find that hard to acheive with this brush due to the following reason:

Bristles are flimsy- they are not dense enough to give you the right amount or correct placing to the area being applied.

If the bristles were more packed in towards each other instead of easily spreading away from each other I think this could possibly work for contouring.

As for highlighting I think it can work but u might get some on the apples of your cheek. You can always make it work by holding and pressing in the bristles together with your fingers instead of holding the handle of the brush.

The brush can be used for blush but again I feel that it will be to messy due to the lack of denseness of the bristles. I simply lightly brush the product on my cheeks and try not to press the brush against your face in order to keep the brush dense.

As for bronzer I think this can work great. If you like to apply your bronzer all over the face this will work for you. The brush picks up the perfect amount of bronzer while giving you the ability of blending it out easily with its soft bristles.

(the bristles are dirty with foundation)

I honestly find this brush better for stippling on foundation. Actually I only use it for that reason. A couple of good things about it is that it is affordable
(12.99), easy to clean and the bristles don't fall out on your face while applying product.

Other than that I love the white handle with the silver entailing around the bristles, brings elegance to the brush.

Wet n Wild Beauty Products

Hi babygirlsss!

Just wanted to do a little review/demo on some products. In my opinion wet n wild products are great!!!! Not only because their so affordable but most important is that the quality is amazing for a drugstore brand. I been using wet n wild products since I was in middle school which is over 10 years ago =( But yes I aways loved them and I'm still glad their around!

I signed up for their vip thingy they have for free and they sent me over these two products which I absolutely enjoy. The bronzer they sent me was one that i already had in my makeup stash but hey i didn't mind receiving another one FREE =)

Also I received a waterproof mascara which is great. Works very well its smudge proof water proof even sweat proof(went to the gym with it on)haha. It does a good job at lengthing and darkening my lashes, ADORE IT!

The bronzer is the perfect shade for my skin not too dark or light. Even if your a shade or two darker than me it will look great because the color payoff is wonderful. Very pigmented. It doesn't go on heavly so even if u get too much on your brush it will apply naturally on the skin. But on the other hand the color is very buildable. So thats pretty much it on these products thanks for following my blog!

QUICK REVIEW!
The palettes are amazing for only 4 bucks and some change.. WOW! u Couldn't ask for more!
The shadows are not chalky at all they are smooth! Comes with six shades, one row is with all Matte shadows the other has Shimmery shadows. Hopefully these palettes are a permanent for their makeup line.

I decided to do a similar look to JLo's makeup in the pic above because I thought it would be a great easy neutral everyday Eye wear to do. Im very into corals so what really called my attention was the color on her lips. I want to find one like that but don't know what color that may be. I incorperated some other looks I did with the Rimmel Glam eyes shadows in "spicy bronze". Let me know if I should do a tutorial on any of these looks? And please leave me some feedback PLEASE =)

Today I did my hair and let me tell you I am loving it! thanks to my hubbie he has such a sweet mommy =) Will blog or tube bout it soon..QUESTION!Have you ever felt like u had so much stuff to do even tho its only like two things but its two things u don't really wanna do so it feels like such a drag and so much to do??...lol, idk im silly like that.

Ok so onto subject: Introducing----JORDANA Eye Primer Base
If your new to the game an eye primer is what we use before applying eyeshadow to help shadow last longer,prevent eye shadow creasing and enhance the color of the shadow.

The jane primer is great for accomplishing 2 out of the 3 things I mentioned. It doesn't really enhance the eye shadow color more and if you have an eye shadow with some mild sparkle it won't really pick up the sparkles kinda just make it look flat or shall I say MATTE. For the shimmer shadows it will show the shimmer but not to it's full potential. Other than that for the price it is an excellent primer but in my opinion I will only use it with my matte eye shadows.

U can see a slight difference it hides more of the sheen from the copper shadow with the primer...what do u think? Make sure your clicking on the pics to enlarge photo!

I found my Jordana eye primer at cherryculture.com and ordered it for only 1.99, yes cheap stuff can do the tricks and trades of the game too;>

Im gonna do an experiment tho and see how it works mixing it with my nyx concealer knowing that you can use concealer as a base why not give it a shot! Let's see if it helps out the vibrancy more, hehe is that even a word? Well who cares sounded cute.

Rimmel London Mono Glam Eye Eyeshadows

Hats off to rimmel london on adding more pigmentation to their new glam eye shadows!! There are 6 different shades, So far I have tried the "Spicy Bronze" and "Royal Violet". In the picture above "royal violet" is on my lid and in my crease I have "spicy bronze" just in case it isn't obvious =)

My fave out of the two is spicy bronze due to it's lovely shimmer/sheen. Royal violet is a bit too chalky but pigmentation is great. They sell them for 2.99 at walmart, anywhere else their sold for 3.99

I used my new eye primer from Jane before applying the shades to my lid,
I will do a review on the primer soon
so stay tuned.

I plan on getting the other blue shades and the white shade not the charcoal one because I have one from nyx that I love but who knows I might just get the rimmel too. Let me know if any of you girls tried these. Will do more looks with these shadows and post them up.

One of my favorite inexpensive l/s for the summer is wet n' wild think pink(901b)
It's a matte finish with no shine or moisture but the color payoff is awesome for just $3!! The color reminds me of the mac lipstick in angel. So if your looking for a cheaper dupe to that mac l/s I say try the wet n' wild lippie.

No More Dry Toe Cuticles!

Hey Ladies so summer is right around the corner but for me UNFORTUNATELY it's all year round. We know we want to have them hands and toes looking fresssh so i introduce you to sally hansen cuticle massage cream. A while back I found this product at walmart for $6 bucks I think and a little goes a loooong way. Had the cream for about 6 months and the consistency is still good as new. Basically what I really use it for is for my toes cuticles because I tend to dry up around those areas. It works great makes my toes look super soft and smooth. It has a peachy/apricot scent to it which smells sooo good. Not overly greasy at all and absorbs quickly into the skin. Soothes hangnails as well. It is also suppose to make your nails stronger and grow faster but I don't agree with that due to my experience with the product. I also use it before I remove my cuticles. (FYI: Pulling back nail cuticles helps nails grow faster!) I massage in some cream on my cuticles and surrounding skin then push back my cuticles so it makes it easier and doesn't damage the skin around my nails. I rate it a 5/5 Any other hand/ toe creams you recommend, I want to know!!?

Milani"Even toned" Powder Foundation

Milani's powder foundation claims to give you full coverage but in my opinion it doesn't. It does some minor cover ups but I see it more as a loose powder. Retails for about $8 and in my opinion that's too much. Reason being doesn't bring enough product and it's not full coverage.

After 6-7 uses I already hit pan and that's not because I use it everyday.
This is great for people who have light or no blemishes/acne. If u have minor skin tone uneveness this will def help gives u a nice smooth soft finish. Lasting power not so great maybe 5 hours tops without touching the face or sweating.
It has two compartments one with a mirror with the foundation and another to place the sponge it brings. I give it a 3/5 perfect for quick on the go errand type makeup.

What are your thoughts on it?

They can be dressed up and down which I loooove so much. And since I am getting older I want to learn to dress more age appropiate because the last thing I wanna do is be 50 years old and still be wearing spandex tights and a short tight top lol

Concealing Those Imperfections

Concealing is a big part for acne prone/dark circles/age spots/dark spots/scarring basically any imperfection of the skin that you would like to cover up for a more clean, smoother, appearance to the skin. So I found this Pysician's Formula Conceal Rx: Physician Strength concealer. I don't know what the point is to give it a long ass name like this but WHATEVSS..I am liking this product because first and foremost it does a good job at covering up. A little dab goes a long way.

It is also not damaging to the skin and I don't find that it clogs up my pores. I have been using it for a good two months and still have product remaining. Its suppose to last 12 hours but I find it's a little less than that UNLESS you use a good foundation or powder foundation to hold it up. Besides that I find when I apply this over any speed bumps(pimples) it tends to dry it up thus helping it heal.

It's very light weight and easy to apply and blend out. The consistency is not as smooth as I would like it to be but Im guess because its an oil free base product. Its also non-comedogenic and fragrance free which in turn helps your skin to breath while having make up on. Retails about $8 at any drugstore. I haven't seen it in walmart tho.

I snatched up a green for the redness or ancne and the beige to even out my skin tone and hide blemishes.

I wouldn't recommend using it for under eye only around and under tearducts but nothing past that. It tends to cake up and settle into fine lines.

Ahhh VEINS! lol I have vainy hands SO WHAT! I was once told that means that I am an artistic person and I would like to believe so =P

I decided to do a much needed little makeover...Unfortunately my lil ol' desk needed a little more UMPH! & SPAZZ! So as I was browsing online at different blog spots I came across this blog who i got this idea from but I cant remember which one it was because it was a while back. But if she is reading this THANK U LOTS for the idea.

In the process of trying to clean out my room and get rid of the old to have more space and what not I came across that great idea from that blog. As I sat there wondering if I should throw away my old sobby looking desk I realized it just needed a quick touch up!

Hello dolls!

So far it's been a beautiful spring. The weather has been on it's best behavior and I'm loving it! I wanted to share some lippies I'm loving this spring. For some reason I'm loving plumy/lavenderish shades this spring. Also I been mix and matching my l/s which is awesome beacuse it gives me a variation of lip shades to wear and I always feel like it's a new l/s everytime hehe, just call me SPUNKY! ;-P

Left:Thalia Right:Violet ray

I am not a big fan of dark burgundy lips or dark l/s in general. Keep in mind that the violet ray is much darker in person as well as the thalia l/s. But I find that when mixing the two of these shades it gives you a beautiful deep rose lavendar neautral look! I wear this almost everyday with a neautral eye and I get so many compliments everytime I wear it.

Hahaha don't mind the have chopped off l/s but idk how this happened I opened it one day and it was crushed =( ANYWAYS, these two paired together are amazing they give you this amazing vibrant lavendar shade. Not too extreme or too pale just PERFECT! Mind you, I always put the darker l/s as the base then the lighter one on top of it. Baby pink by itself is a gorgeous color If you like those pastel pink/lavendar lips, I SURE DO!

Milani "bellatini"

I A.D.O.R.E this shade it is much more on the plumy side than it shows on the picture. But this is a fabulous color works lovely with neutral or dramatic eye looks. It has a yummy smell too! Everytime I smell it it makes me want to eat it NO JOKE. I am inlove with milani l/s because I find that their texture/smell/staying power is AMAZING! I have other milani l/s but I will show those some other time hehehe. Until next time here are the swatches of all the lippies.

Nail Polish SwaggaaAh

Wet'n'Wild Wild Shine Nail Polish

Wet n' wild is stepping their nail polish game up! I am in love with these wet'n' wild wild shine polishes. First and foremost they are DIRT CHEAP! You can get them for .97 cents, secondly, they are the shiniest np I have ever seen without having to put on a shiny top coat over the np.
You only need one coat to get some color but i prefer two coats because I find that the true color shows more with two coats. It brings alot of np in one of those little bottles which is also a plus. The only thing is that they do chip but not right
away that's if you use a top coat
over the np. They will last on your nails for about a week without chipping depending how good your top coat is and how much you do with your hands because if you do dishes they might just chip a little =/
Besides that everything is all good with these np. From left to right: Sparked, Red Red, Blazed, Forbidden Love, Clear Nail Protector. Forbidden love reminds me of an OPI color I believe it's called "time less is more" and blazed is like a dupe for Orly"festival lights"They have a decent wide range of different colors to choose from. I plan on getting lots more. I'm dying for a aqua, hot pink and yellow NP. If u know any good cheap brands that have these colors please let me know.

PURE ICE Nail Polishes
What can I say bout these bad girls, simply...I just adore these a little more than wet'n'wilds. The color payoff is great. You will only need one coat and u get the exact color u see in the bottle. They have an abundant amount of different colors. Some are matte finishes, frosty, sparkly and metallic finishes. Their definitely not as shiny but their not dull looking at all but like every nail polish, it's better when the np shines and BLINGS IN YO FACE!! lol
Soooo from left to right: Rumors, Taupe Drawer(pale purple/flash changed the color), Jaguar(gold w/tiny sparkles)
I love taupe drawer it's my fave at the moment and it is definitely a dupe for OPI "Parles Vouz" Their a bit more pricey maybe around $3 I believe but none the less still a great price!
All these nail polishes including wet'n'wild's go on smooth and non streaky which is a
BIG PLUS.
Well these nail polishes have been approved by me and I say go ot and try them their great ;)

Love this blush, the color payoff is amazing! I usually don't like anything from this brand(except the vinyl lip gloss) because the color payoff suxs. The only reason why I actually bought it was because I got it on sale for 70 cents lol the original price is $4 or $5.

RIMMEL VINYL LIP GLOSS"RHYTHM"
I love these glosses even though the color payoff is not that intense but the shine is great and it last for a couple of hours on the lips if u don't eat anything like any old lip gloss.

But it smells great and has a smooth texture and it does not have a liquid like consistency it's more of a creamy texture which is great! This color adds a hint of pink to the lips but u will barely see it. Since my lips are pretty pale I can notice the color better. I also have the one in "purity" which is a nude gloss that one is very pretty looks great on top of any lipsticks as does the "rhythm" gloss as well. Maybe that's y I love these glosses so much.

SELECT LASH S47
These lashes are very lushful lol. They are very dramatic so if that's how u like your lashes then definitely do try these. Found them at my dollar store for $2.50 too bad they weren't a dollar. But it's still a great price it also brings a plastic holder to help u grip the lashes and put them on your eye instead of using tweezers or your hand. Haven't tried the glue yet but I am going to do that.

ummm can we say HELLO elf lashes where have u been all my life?! Just wanted to let u know how fabulous the lush lashes from elf are great quality and for a DOLLAR ONLY!

I found this pair at my dollar store the only ones left sadly =( I wanted to get a whole bunch! The bring a glue stick but I haven't used it heard it was crappy so i used my duo glue and these lashes stayed on for more than 8 hours!!

If u are into lashes that are natural looking and add volume and fullness definitely try these. You can buy them on their website or maybe at your dollar stores. Target now sells ELF so def check it out.

How I Clean My Lashes:
I use a little jar or even a cup add warm water and 2 or 3 drops of facial cleanser then let them soak for 1-2 minutes. After, I remove the lashes from the water and peel off any left over glue. Again, I dip it into the water for 1 minute then dry them off with a paper towel and place them back in their original tray.

ELF's MECHANICAL EYELASH CURLER:
A great inexpensive curler (1.00) This curler curls my lashes without any pinching of the skin. The curler has a special curved design to suit all eye shapes. I love it!

Happy New Years!!

Starting off 2010 with 3 reviews all of them inexpensive and work great! Let's start off with my nyx concealer I did a review on my youtube channel on this.

Basically what I said was that the concealer does wonders at covering up blemishes but it's a drying, accentuates fine lines and not easy to blend. But what I recently found is that if you add a little bit of water to the concealer brush it will help moisten the concealer and make it easier to blend. Also, the jar seems small but it is packed with a lot of product to last you for more than two months. The concealer can last for a little over 8 hours. They have 3 color options I think.. my color is in beige. Only $5 at cherryculture.com

The next review is the NYC Waterproof pencil eyeliner. It definitely is waterproof and does not smudge at all. The color payoff is great! What I find it's easier to apply on the top and bottom lash line but in the waterline u kind of have to run it through back and forth a couple times to get the color to show. It is able to last for 8 hours or more on the top and bottom lash line but in the waterline maybe for 6 hours will update on the waterline because I'm not so sure yet. Only 3.99 at any drugstore.

My last review is on the Loreal Original Voluminous mascara. My lashes pretty much don't need that much lengthening in my opinion but more volume. This mascara provides both and it is by far my favorite mascara at the moment! It's not to liquid or clumpy and it does not flake. The color payoff is great, it's dark enough to provide that volume and bring out those lashes. One coat would be good for me but I love applying two coats or more for extra volume. It's only $8 at any drugstore.

Avon's Advance Techniques

SOoo ladies I been on the hunt for good cheap hair products and I came across this advance techniques hair serum. This serum is specifically for dry ends. It helps tame those flyaways/frizzies and repairs dry damaged hair while smoothing out the hair.

Let me just say its been only a couple of days I been using this and so far so good definitely see some results! It really tames them flyaways and smooths out the hair leaving it shiny and silky. Also it has UV-filters for added sun protection.

It's not expensive at all only $4.99 and right now it's on sale for 3.99 at avon.com. The product smells divine, it leaves the hair smelling so fresh and clean.

I want to use it for at least a month or so that way I can give a more detailed review on this product. I use to use the garnier fructise serum but I find the advance techniques to be waaaaaay better..the quality is way more finer than fructis. But anyways be on the look out for that review on my youtube channel ladies.

New Hair Remedy!

HELLO THERE!!

I know! long time I haven't blogged hopefully I haven't been forgotten =(

But I hope u been tuning in to my youtube channel I have posted a few vids on there for this month and I also have a twitter because I wanna be like the cool kids, j.k! I guess I just got it "just cuz" lol w.e!

Anywho I been experimenting with my hair and I wanted to heal it from all these horrible heat appliances and split ends. At first Iwas going for the one time a month I using a heat appliance and not dying my hair as much as 3 or 4 times in a month! Yea I know horrible.

I know your hair is basically dead anyways but there are ways that help the hair appear healthy, shiny, bouncy and all those pretty things lol. Well since I couldn't help to use a straightening iron since I love wearing my hair straight most the time I mannaged to cut the use to about only 3 times a month I can use a heat appliance. Also I only dye my hair once a month. My hair has improved greatly I will be posting more detailed pictures as soon as I can.

I wanted to let u know on one of my hair secrets in keeping it shiny and silky smooth.. especially if you have dry, brittle hair such as those with curly and wavy hair.

Basically the recipe consist of honey and any hair conditioning of your choice. I noticed it works best when using a really good conditioner such as treseme which I lovvve or paul mitchell but that's a little on the expensive side.

These are the steps:
-Mix an equal amount of honey and conditioner together
-Apply to dry hair (do not wash hair before procedure)mainly focusing on the ends and roots
-Leave in hair for 20 minutes (better results leave in for at least 40 minutes) the longer left the better.
-then rinse out with warm water and shampoo and conditioner hair as usual

Below: I put a little more honey because my hair is really dry but u don't wanna put more conditioner than honey because it will make your hair oily.

After you style and hair is completely dry you instantly feel the softness and you can see the shine..Definitely try it out and let meknow how it goes for you! I use this remedy all the time once a week and it really helps my hair to be more easily manageable, shiny and smooth!

Tyra's National Real Hair Day

Hey hey hey! Hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend...I had a great one with my fam. We did barbQ's and had wine and all that good stuff. So this is a random blog about.......... TYRA BANKS! Well let me tell you how much I love this lady, she cracks me up especially on her talk show. Love her style and makeup and of course her HAIRSTYLES!!

Her new season premiere started September 7 or 8th I think but anyways she declared to do a national "real" hair day on September 8, 2009. Throughout the season she will be wearing her real hair at times and other times she will wear her weaves. I love this idea because she is showing people that it's ok to look natural and still look beautiful just like when she did the episode without makeup and the cellulite one. It's a great idea because the media now and days is all about consuming and very deceiving they make it seem like you have to have the perfect lips, eyes, body, hair, this and that! But anyways I think her hair is beautiful naturally! All it takes a little lesson on how to wear basic makeup or basic hairstyling tips to look good, thank god for youtube and all them great makeup/hair gurus! Well what do u girl's think of tyra's hair?

Let's talk smoothies ladies..yes smootheis as in drink. I loooooove making smoothies especially banana strawberry smoothies! I decided to let u in on my secret recipe to making my home made straberry and banana smoothie. If you don't like/allergic to bananas u can substitute it for something else or just have it with strawberries only.

Ingredients:
Frozen straberries
1 banana
any kind of fruit juice i use "tropicana-tropical punch"
ice cubes
blender

Once you have everything dump it all in the blender and mix it away! It should look something like this....

I Need Some Mickey In My Life

Hi!

I been thinking...my life is slowly getting more boring and routine..ish and it SUCKS!! I hate routine and I hate being bored even more. I been really reminiscing bout my childhood years and wish I could go back in time and stay there.. forever-eva. Life was more of an adventure as a kid and less routinish, at least for me it wasn't. I just think I need a trip to....DISNEY WORLD!! That place always makes me feel like a kid and brings me back to my childhood ages, I went there quite a bit when I was a lil' git hehehe..But yea I'm definitely craving disney so bad and now it's even funner cus I can drink all the alcohol I want when I go over there HAHAHHA!

Anyway, this blog is just about a look that I did using the colors green, blue, yellow and purple..Had so much fun doing it! Definitely going to be doing more of these bright colored looks. Rimmel & Maybelline Suuuuuccck!

Don't get me wrong not all their products SUCK
but here are ones that
def need a BIG caution sign posted somewhere
on the product. Lets start off with the rimmel colour rush trio
u see right above all these little words. This trio of colors is very very sheer. You need to apply it at least 5x's to get some decent color pay off. So I used two different bases
so u can compare and see which base would work best.

I came to the conclusion that either or works ok with this trio palette
but I think loreal decrease is a bit more better because the color shows a bit more.
So down below I swatched all 3 colors and with the loreal base i applied it 7x's just so it will show up on the pix. But with 3 or 4 applications onthe eye will do great. When I used the revlon based I applied the e/s 5x'S. Loreal Decrease Base(Above)

Final Thought: I think this particular trio is good for a daytime
look. Such as an interview, school,work, running errands EVEN THE BEACH! Since the colors are not as intense they are perfect for any any kind of day time activity or anywhere that is inappropriate to wear very outstanding makeup. Also, if your the type of gal that doesn't like to wear so much make up during the day time or at night this product will do you justice! The next review is about the maybelline dream mousse shadows.
Well..these little tricksters are garbage. I love the cute little jar and everything but it is an absolutely horrible product in my opinion. It should definitely be called dream crumbles because it is not moussy, creamy or smooth. The texture is very clumpy and hard to apply and smooth out the product. By the time you try to smooth it out 99.5% of the product is lost because it just crumbles up and doesn't stick on the eyelid.

So after 5 minutes of trying to smooth out this baby
this is what ends up happening..
Most the product is gone and as u can see some product left on my middle finger. Please feel free to click on all the pictures to enlarge them.
You can't do anything with this so called make up product, absolute waste of money. These are just my opinions and experiences you are definitely welcomed to try them out and experiment on yourself because it may work out for you. But I have researched around on the net and youtube and the majority don't have very good opinions bout this product. Anyway if you have any questions just ask away..

I replicated the look that I had on my youtube what's in your purse vid...some of u blogettes wanted to see a tut on it so i decided to do it but I kinda switched it up a bit. Instead of the orginal look which had revved up pigment on the lid I replaced it with rose pigment. Also, for the original look I deepened my crease with sketch this time i did it with a black e/s from my 56 coastal scents palette! Bed Head Dual Waver Review

Hey there gorgeous people!

First off I wanna give thanks to all the other lovely bloggers that have chosen to follow my blog and share their wonderful comments on my blogs. It's really appreciated and please if your a follower of mine and I haven't followed u yet please let me know about your blog I am very interested in all you bloggers out there. =)

Shall we move on...

Ok so has anybody heard of the Bed Head Dual Waver??? Don't worry if u haven't your about to become familiar with it today, hahaha! I decided to do a mini review on this hair iron that I bought a while back. What's a dual waver you say? Well it's also known as a crimper.. YES A CRIMPER.. It's supose to make your hair look like u have little waves in your hair strands. I know it may sound weird but for those of you who don't know what I am talking about let me just say before I go any further let me show you an example. Here's a picture of madonna and lindsay lohan with crimped up waves..personally I like lindsay's waves but what's up with her makeup and well madonna...looks cracked out lol

Well I will be doing a tutorial on this look this weekend and post some pictures up on my blog so you can see how this particular waver works out for me on my hair.

I love crimpers and how they make your hair look it's just super cute and girly in my opinion. So this waver/crimper is ok. I say this because even though the highest heat setting is 400 degrees it doesnt really crimp the hair, the heat isn't strong enough. You have to put hairspray before you crimp to get those little deep waves. I bought it at Ulta for $35. I also love that it is purple haha and it lights up when u turn it on(i'm such a ditz) I get amused easily lmao!

The fact that the waver does have tourmaline ionic and ceramic barrels is one of the reasons why I like this waver. Tourmaline ionic means that it is going to provide shine, smooth out the hair and tame the frizz. Also, it has an adjustable styling barrel in order for you to choose between deep or shallow waves. SO that's pretty cool.

To wrap this review up I think it's a decent waver when applying hairspray before crimping the hair...I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. If u have any questions about this waver please do ask. Thanks again for joining me at my blog!

Hello again and welcome.. So I decided to do a lime green smokey look. The eye makeup looks waaaay darker in person once again the camera doesn't do any justice to these colors.. There all so vibrant and beautiful especially with brown eyes. It reall makes the greens POP, lol.

Here's what I used:

EYE Products:
Lid-NYX jumbo pencil in milk as an all over base
-Mac chartreuse pigment

Outer V and Crease- Used my darkest green and black shade from my coastal scents 56 palette
-Lash Blast Mascara
-HIP Cream Liner(great stuff)

Cheeks-Mac refined golden bronzer(LOVE IT)
Lips-NYX REA lipstick and NYX lipgloss in NATURAL

Fresh Skin Brings Big smiles

Hi there everyone, hope all is well!

Here are a couple of things that I love which are cheap good products and work well with my skin type in MY OPINION =)

I guess u can say my skin type is normal meaning it's not to dry or oily it's just in between. Back when I started high school my face was real oily but as when u get older the texture changes. I love washing off my makeup with good cleansing and exfoliating products. It's very important to exfoliate those dead skin cells once every week but I like doing it twice a week. This helps get rid of any excess residue, dirt and dead skin cells in order to prevent skin outbreaks and other impurities that comes with the game.

Cleansing helps remove makeup, oils on the skin and unclog pores. A moisturizer with SPF 30 is great to use becuase it delivers anti-aging ingredients and protects the skin from sun damage. Also, it helps keep the skin smooth and hydrated no matter if u have dry or oily skin. So with that said here goes my face routine for now. Check out this site for more info:

First I apply my moisturizer which is called Green Tea day cream which has dead sea minerals and green tea extracts. Its perfect for me it does not irritate or breakout my skin. It came a a pack with a facial mask but I haven't tried it yet. I bought it at big lots for $5, great deal. But I don't really know where else to get it I have never seen it anywhere else. The product has glycerin which is a humectant that helps keep skin hydrated. Smells ok goes on smooth and light. The downside is that it does not have any SPF.

After moisturizing I apply my face primer if I am going out for a girls night or I want my makeup to last on for a long time then I go on to my foundation. Then before I go to bed I cleanse my face with Neutrogena's one step gentle cleanser. This cleanser claims to completely remove the makeup off of your face. It definetly does the job!! In just one cleanse it removes 99.1 % of it. I generally like cleansing twice so it really gets the job done if not I sometimes use a cleansing wipe.

Then after cleansing I exfoliate but I don't exfoliate everyday just twice a week. I use Neutrogena's Deep Clean Gentle Scrub oil free. This formula is gentle enough to use everyday but what I like that it removes my makeup too and leaves my face soft, hydrated and GLOWY. It's like I can really tell it removed all that dead skin and dirt.

I don't really use toners because I don't have that much of an oily face and plus their job duties are the same as a facial cleanser. But back in high school i did use a toner which was the infamous Witch Hazel, and oddly I love the smell of that toner=)

One more thing, with my moisturizer since it doesn't have SPF I use this Lancome moisturizer which really doesn't work well for me when applied alone. It's too greasy and breaks me out. So when I mix the two together, my moisturizer and the lancome moisturizer it works really well. Does not break me out at all.

Look at my cute bracelet hehe I got for $10 at the mall..It has cute lil charms. The bow on it stole my heart that's y I bought it lol..i love bows!!

NYX Lip Kraze

Hey everyone,

I'm here to give ya a few lil' lip swatches from NYX. I know there are tons of reviews on these darling babies but I wanna give my own review from my own experiences with them.

Let's start off by saying that the price is perfect and the packaging is cute. Not expensive at all, at cherryculture I think it's $2 for one of these lippies. If u get it at Ulta it's going to cost u $5 I think, maybe in your area it might be different.

But these are great inexpensive lipsticks that moisturize my lips and go on smoothly...I don't even need a lipgloss on top of these lipsticks because their just that creamy. The color payoff is great and they have a great smell to them (some don't really have a smell)

The only thing I don't like is that they don't last long on the lips with any sip or bite u take into anything some of the color will come off, not completely but some.

Don't Let your mascara Run you..

Hi everyone,

I wanted to do my own review on these two infamous mascaras that I'm sure the majority have heard of. If you have or haven't then I will start off by saying this is my own personal experience and opinion. Just because it does not work for me that doesn't mean it can't work for you.

So with that said here goes my review. I always enjoyed Maybelline Great Lash mascara. It has been my favorite mascara since middle school, LOL wow. I am one of those that believe all the hype about. It's the #1 recommended mascara said by makeup artist.

One thing I love about this mascara is the wand. It is small and fits right into them hard inner and out corner of the lashes. When the wand is smaller it helps to prevent me from getting mascara all up on the skin around my lashes. Next I love the color intensity one application of this stuff your lashes instantly darken. Another fave thing is that it definitely adds great volume extends out my lashes and separates them really well.

One thing I don't like about this is that when u apply it gets a little clumpy that's because when it comes out of the tube their is alot of product on the wand. What I like doing is grabbing a napkin and gently wipe off any excess product on the wand onto a napkin before applying on lashes. It works out great!

The eye with the great lash maybelline is the one to your left. I only used two coats of the maybelline. Now, the next eye has the Cover Girl Lash Blast. It is not the waterproof one neither is the maybelline but I found out that the maybelline was harder to remove than the lash blast. One thing I love about lash blast are the bristles on the wand they are so cool because their not clumped together like other wand bristles but I don't think it really helps out due to the fact that the wand is so freakin' HUGE! I hate the wand it's so hard to not get any mascara on your lid, GEEEZZ.I like that when u apply this mascara it doesn't feel heavy on the lashes and doesn't really come out all clumpy when the wand is removed from tube. It doesn't really separate or volumize my lashes. I had to apply 3 coats to make my lashes as dark as the maybelline. The camera really doesn't do justice but in person u can really tell the difference. But I never had a flaking problems with neither of the mascaras or itchiness.

So I guess you can say the winner for me is maybelline's great lash!!! Anyways let me know your experiences or opinions I would love to know, it will be interesting!
